You mention Shelving because it's +2 everything (and I do use shelving myself) but perhaps your base is the one that has the extra large Fuel storage so you're already storing like 90 fuel, so maybe adding Airtight Containers to the Kitchen and getting +5 food and putting the Secure Case on something else for +5 ammo is better than +2 across the board.Īlso which mod you put on your farm depends on if it's producing Food or Meds.

In the absence of free power there's also the 'comfy chair' which I used before I had the Builder boon which gives a morale boost but again has no cost or risk increase.īut for example Workshop / Power Tools if you'd rather make ammo there's different mods for making ammos at a Workshop instead of needing a facility for it. Assuming you have the Builder Legacy/Boon which gives the entire base free water and power, I think the Space Heater is better than WNG since it gives the Morale boost but at no cost (with free power) and no noise.

The White Noise Generator gives a boost but also increases your noise / base attack chance. There's a mod called I think called xxxx (EDIT: I was wrong the first time - it's actually called 'Network Signal Booster' ) that gives you +2 Outpost slots, rather than the Signal Antenna which is +1.

Don't get me wrong I'm totally supporting a discussion thread around base mods!

It's really hard to pick a 'best' of anything at this game because everything is so flexible, the whole point is to tailor things to your own play style or needs. Just chatting here mate not trying to argue, merely discuss.
